Sarah Grindler grew up on Salt Spring Island where she gained a love for nature, and a passion for art. Inspired by her father’s career in illustration, she was constantly drawing. Sarah now works as an author/illustrator of picture books.
She has attended the Canadian College of Performing Arts, the Camosun College Visual Arts Program, and a continuing studies program in Children’s Picture Book Illustration at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She also received a remarkable education with her library card. 🙂
She now lives in a seaside cottage with her wonderful husband Jason and son Jackson.
