From ABC BookWorld, Sanda Susan Friedman moved to B.C. in 1976. A therapist and educator specializing in girls' issues, Friedman first began studying and counseling patients with eating disorders through an initial concern with her own body image. She is a past co-chair of the board of proMOTION plus, the B.C. organization for girls and women in physical activity and sport. She lives on the Sunshine Coast and is on the board of Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast.
