  • Time After Time

Peter enjoyed a 25-year career as a professional actor, musical director, playwright and administrator. He performed at some of the country's largest and most prestigious theatres: Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival, Arts Club, Alberta Theatre Projects, Tarragon, Canadian Stage and Centaur. He has won the Canadian Playwriting Competition in both the adult and young audience categories as well as a Jessie Award for his original script, "Time After Time". For 14 years he was the General Manager of Green Thumb Theatre, producing provincial, national and international tours. He served on the boards of the Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance, Vancouver Cultural Alliance, Leon & Thea Koerner Foundation and Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (including a term as President). Both the GVPTA and PACT presented him with Lifetime Achievement Awards when he left the professional theatre community and obtained his designation as an accountant. In recent years Peter has directed plays and musicals for community theatre. In 2015 he won awards for Best Director and Best Set Design at Theatre BC Mainstage for "Rabbit Hole".
