Janie Chang is a historical romance novelist who lives on the Sunshine Coast. She has also lived in Vancouver, the Philippines, Iran, Thailand and New Zealand. She has a degree in computer science from SFU.

She appeared at the Festival of the Written Arts, Sechelt, in both 2017 and 2023.
