Christine Cowan
A Board member of the North Shore Writers Association, she
is a retired teacher and counsellor. Her debut novel, She Thought I Knew, evolved from a disturbing incident at her job, and the layers of conflicts and subplots came from a lifetime of reading, attending creative workshops, and listening to the advice of successful authors.
She grew up in Vancouver and moved to the North Shore for her career. She has a teaching degree, and a master’s in psychology. She's won prizes from local writing contests in poetry and non-fiction, and I is writing a second novel. She's also a painter and belongs to the North Shore Artists’ Guild.

She had a cabin on the Sunshine Coast, and stills visits there often.
